Review:
This coffee has notes of chocolate more along the lines of a dark chocolate or cocoa nibs. There is a slight nuttiness to it as well. Aroma promises an acidity which is not delivered in the brew due to the over powering nature of the bolder flavours. Smoky aftertaste typical of a dark roast. Not complex and pretty straightforward.
Best for: French press, Espresso
Worst for: Pourover
Pro tips:
Make cold milk based drinks like an iced latte out of this coffee to allow its bold flavours to be complimented with.
Final verdict: Only for milk and sugar based coffees. Otherwise not recommended.
